Anger Never Works

The moment you get angry is the moment you lose your balance. Anger distorts your perspective. Anger makes up stories in your head. Anger gives your power away. Anger makes you more angry. No battle, argument, discussion ever is resolved through anger. Only when the anger subsides can there be a resolution, although often things that were said in anger still linger like a bad smell. You can't fight fire with fire. You can't protest for peace with anger. What you resist persists. What are we all so angry about anyway?

Hide And Seek

Whatever we identify with, we experience. Identity though is a choice. We choose what we believe in and then we decide what that means to us and how it is going to make us feel. Then we deny all knowledge of this as being our choice just so that we can go through the process of learning once again to remember who we really are. It's the ultimate cosmic game of hide and seek.

Life Is Too Short

Life is too short just may be the oldest, most overused and yet ineffective cliche of all time. We all say it. We all say it a lot. Usually we say it after we experience or hear of difficult or sad events. We use it as a way to motivate ourselves to then go and make the most of our lives - knowing just how uncertain and limited our time on this planet is. But then we quickly forget. Gratitude IS an attitude

Regardless of whether you believe some of the bogus hocus pocus that is out there regarding gratitude and writing gratitude journals. Regardless of whether you believe that the Universe will send you everything you express gratitude for. Regardless of whether one of the key components of cosmic ordering is an attitude of gratitude. When it simply comes down to it, gratitude feels good. End of. To appreciate what you have and where you are and not to wish to be or have something more is freeing. It feels good. It means you can relax into yourself. Be who you are. Enjoy who you are. Enjoy the moment.
